As a Housing Buddy at Breda University of Applied Sciences, you will play a crucial role in assisting international students in securing comfortable accommodation for their studies. You will be the go-to person for students navigating the housing market in Breda and the surrounding area.
Your Responsibilities
- Research and compile a list of available student housing in Breda and surrounding areas
- Contact landlords and real estate agents to inquire about available rooms and arrange viewings
- Accompany international students on housing viewings
- Provide guidance to students on rental agreements, reasonable pricing, and local regulations
- Maintain a database of student housing placements and track the effectiveness of different housing search methods
- Identify and report any challenges or bottlenecks in the student housing market

What We Offer
As a Housing Buddy at BUas, you'll earn a salary between € 2.589,60 and € 3.545,13 gross per month based on a full-time contract. This is a temporary position from May 19th to October 10th, 2025. We offer full travel reimbursement for public transport and a health insurance allowance. You'll also receive an 8.3% year-end bonus and an 8% holiday allowance. We provide a laptop and mobile phone for your work. Your workspace will be on our green, sustainable campus, conveniently located near Breda's vibrant city center.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a recent or soon-to-be graduate of BUas with a fresh perspective and eagerness to apply their knowledge. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect with international students and external parties. You are flexible, adept at prioritizing tasks, and can handle deadlines and peak periods effectively. As an expert in Breda's rental market, you think creatively to find housing solutions for students. You have a strong command of both Dutch and English (reading and writing) to navigate our international environment. Lastly, you are available for the entire summer period.
