Planetarium Meeting Center Amsterdam is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Operational Manager to lead their team in delivering exceptional events and exceeding guest expectations.


Jouw verantwoordelijkheidsgebieden zijn:

  • Lead and motivate the operational team (banqueting, kitchen, and cleaning)
  • Ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences
  • Manage budgets for the kitchen and banqueting departments
  • Oversee cleaning, AV and material maintenance, HACCP, Green Key, and BHV protocols
  • Conduct intake meetings with event organizers and facilitators
  • Participate in daily and weekly meetings to discuss event details and logistics
  • Collaborate with the Reservations & Reception Manager and report to the director
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of services and processes

  • Completed MHS, HHS, Facility Management, or a similar degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the hospitality sector
  • Possession of Social Hygiene and BHV diplomas, or willingness to obtain them
  • Fluent in Dutch
