Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for innovation and collaboration? We are looking for a Senior Technical Engineer to strengthen our R&D team and play a key role in developing advanced systems. If you have experience in product development, mechatronics, and sensor technology, then we are looking for you! As a Senior Technical Engineer, you will be involved in the development of our innovative products from start to finish.
What You Will Do
- Define requirement specifications and translate them into tangible designs
- Work on systems for dosing solid and liquid consumables in dairy, pig, and poultry farming
- Integrate sensors and measurement systems into products to gather data and optimize processes
- Collaborate with colleagues from mechanical engineering, ICT, and data engineering
- Maintain contact with external partners, suppliers, and knowledge institutions
- Test new products in collaboration with our animal specialists on experimental farms

What You Bring
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Technical Engineer with a strong drive for innovation and teamwork. You possess a degree in Mechatronics or a similar HBO education and have several years of relevant experience. You have a solid understanding of electrotechnical control and sensors, coupled with an affinity for digitalization and an interest in software development. Experience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD is a plus. You are a strong communicator with a collaborative spirit and an interest in the professional livestock industry.
- A degree in Mechatronics or a comparable HBO education
- Several years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of electrotechnical control and sensors
- Affinity with digitalization and an interest in software development
- Preferably experience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Affinity with or interest in the professional livestock industry
